They're not difficult to find here, there's one fairly near here that has been breeding them these last couple of years. Didn't buy any, since they were a mix of two different subspecies. At least, that's what the breeder said last year. To be honest, I'm losing interest in
Nerodia.
But that's a fine snake nevertheless.
What is the typical
Nerodia like, compared to garters? Apart from spending much more time in the water bowl?
