The original had sliding glass doors too. My
second home made, which is now my primary terrarium and still in its original condition, has swinging doors.
I don't really like sliding doors, you can't have both open at the same time and you'll always have a few millimeters of space between the two doors. Not exatly perfect for juvenile snakes. Swinging doors aren't perfect either, as they need room to swing. Maybe I'll try vertically sliding doors in my next project.
