To be honest, I'm not convinced that it is a Garter Snake. It certainly isn't a Queen Snake. I'm thinking more one of the Brown Snake (Storeria dekayi) sub-species...maybe victa or other southern types. My guess is that it's Storeria dekayi wrightorum. It's certainly natricine, so the captive requirements should be similar to that of a Garter. I don't usually 'Google' but this one has got me curious!!
