I don't know about the breeding size; I would figure it has more to do with their age/maturity than their size, but not sure.

All information I have read on Maritime Snakies (because I have one) indicates the females reach an average of about 3 feet in length, and are described as 'slender snakes'. The males do not get quite as long. Also, captive ones are expected, and reported to get longer. I have read here and there of ones 4 feet in length. I'm hoping my female gets HUMUNGOUS! Like 8 feet! LOL!!
In the wild, they are suspected to live for no longer than 2 - 3 years, mainly due to predation. In captive, they have been reported to live an average of 10 years, with reports of some being older than this.
They have approximately 6 - 15 babies on average. Mine had about 8 or 9 shortly after I got her (I lost count, they were everywhere!) and they were about 5 - 6 inches long, grey in color, and very cute!
