I've had many a pet rat in my day, and yes, they are a lot of fun, and quite easy to become attached to. On the other hand, now I have snakes,and while mine aren't fed on mice/rats, I know that many other people's are.
Does it bother me? NOT A BIT!!! Every animal has to eat, and sometimes what they eat is what someone else keeps as a pet. And sometimes you keep both the feeder and the "feed-ee"
as pets. As long as you are taking good care of all of them, what difference does it make?
