The garter field herping trip sounds a bit ambitious, too. Who knows of a good herping spot within reasonable distance of a city with a major airport? It just looks like it's a lot of extra travelling.
Right, no garters in Europe, except for that tiny population in southern Sweden.
But there are 198 other herps in Europe, that don't get the attention they deserve.
