also
every facebook (or whatever that other site is) page I've ever looked at (and there's only been less than a handful), has been overwhelming
I'm not sure that I want to know this much about a person all at once - I prefer getting to know them
the people who's pages I've seen I don't think I would have ever become friends with if that had been my first exposure
it's kind of like people who wear too much perfume - instead of being subtly enticing, it's like an assault and not terribly inviting
like when Anji talks about her baking woes, I feel at home - it's solid
I totally get the picture
