Yeh cat person here too. For me it's all about personality. Dogs just seem to love everyone and are always excited about things and are always willing to please...to the point of it getting sickening. While cats I think are more genuine. When my cats play with me or give me attention, I know it's because they really want to and really care, because if they didn't....they just tell me to sod off.
Makes them a lot less one dimensional then dogs I think.
