Actually, I can't believe the colour difference just in the last two sheds.
Although, ironically, that's not the only thing that looks different-- I'm actually beginning to wonder if "she" isn't a "he".
All of a sudden the tail seems much longer, and there is a slight bulge just beneath the vent that was just not noticeable before. Do the sex traits sometimes just show up more as they grow???
I'm going to have to try to get some vent pics and let everyone have a go at their opinion. This is a very interesting turn of events.......
