They are indeed smelly, but they aren't that bad. But they sure are alot more work than all my snakes put together. I switched to wood- and paper-based pellets and they don't smell nearly as bad anymore. It has been an interesting experiment so far, but if the females got infected as well, then I'll abort. At least for now. Getting hold of three mice was enough trouble already.
My parietalis is big enough to swallow adult mice anyway, even if they're big enough to last her a month.
