I hadn't heard that, Roy. The grand-parents of mine were wild caught on Vancouver Island, which is outside the
concinnus range, I believe. The pattern is identical to that of the blue
pickeringi, only in red and yellow, rather than blue. If there is any intergradation, I would suspect it more likely to involve
fitchi. I'd be interested to hear more though, if you could remember where you read that.
