I think Stitch is more upset because, being wild-caught, he's never had such an event imposed upon him!
I usually only handle him gently and let him crawl around as he wishes. This is the first time I've ever tried to stuff him into something unexpectedly. And having his tail pulled on probably didn't impress him a whole lot either!! He'll probably forgive me after a couple days and a good feeding!
