Well guys, thanks a lot for replying, it helped.
I currently have a large, thick shell for him to hide under, but I guess I'll add more, since they seem to like that. And thanks for the tips on feeding. Being my first time with a snake (or a n00b, as was said) I was very eager for him to eat, but I'm relieved to find that not eating for some time is ok at first. Thanks again!
