Re: Mossy frogs anyone?

Oh alright, they are a semi aquatic tree frog. I have them in a 20 gallon tall aquarium with a screen lid. The water is about 6 inches deep. The "land" area takes up about 1/4 of the tank. The "land" area is made up of some rocks formed into a planter with a pothos plant. There is also a piece of mopani wood for them to crawl onto. I filter the water and there are some submerged plants to help with water quality (basically treat it like an aquarium). They eat large crickets (or roaches, but I don't have any of these). No special heat or lighting required. I do have a light for the pothos. I will try to get photos of the new tank arrangement tomorrow.

They usually deposit their eggs at or just above water level on the rocks or driftwood (or cork if you have that). From what I've read they spawn about every 3-5 weeks with about 10-40 eggs per "batch", I'll let you know what mine do if I ever get mine to breed.
