Garter Snake Forum - View Single Post - how often does your garter go in the water?

Alright, I find that really interesting. In the other forum I mentioned someone had a theory that her garter stopped soaking as much when she switched it over from fish to mice. Me personally, I think it sounds kind of far-fetched. What do you think? What do you feed the garters you have that can´t stay out of the water?
