My female _always_ hides under the water dish (I think she is getting ready for a shed). This is on the cool side of the enclosure. The other hide is on the warm side. So my question is this based on your experience. Would a snake rather be cold and well hidden, hot and well hidden, or perfect temp and not hidden that well ? Also how long is the "blue phase"
Thats all for now, TIA

I don't really do anything different for her during shed... she lays in the water bowl during her entire shed period and will not have it any other way! Mine is also on the cool side, on the other side i have branches, a big hide and two ceramic heaters over top.... the male is alays always up there in the branches under the heat... she only is half the time, I really think that they all ahve their own personal preferences and as long as I know she has a CHOICE to get warm, and still doesn't want to be warm, that's her decision! The blue phase desnt last for very long, I would say between 2 and 4 days depending on the snake?? Im not 100% sure though I have enver counted the days....
