. If you don't want to call it the Spanish name for "hunter," you might consider conejito (cone ay HEE toe). It means little rabbit, or bunny, in Spanish. Sometimes it's hard to change a name after stuffed animals get used to hearing it for a while.
My 8-year-old daughter has two stuffed bunnies, named Teenie and Weenie. We're pretty sure they come alive at night

because of the way they end up in her bedroom floor in the morning... all by themselves. They're a lot like the Velveteen Rabbit that was loved so much that it came to life one day. I hope yours comes to life for you, too
