Re: Finally........
Great video Kevin
I got one of mine to eat today, but not the other. The first quickly grabbed a flopping minnow, and then ate a chunk of salmon held by chopsticks. The second little guy wanted no part of any fish, dead or alive. I'll wait a little bit to offer again like you said. Have any of your babies not shed yet? I've been told they should shed about two days after birth. One of the babies (the one that ate) shed almost immediately after birth (perfect whole skin) and I have yet to find a second skin. Is this normal, anyone? I'm curious.

Re: Finally........
Kevin~
The male is doing great, eating like a pig. We have an appt at the vet this week to get him de-wormed, as I am assuming he probably also has them. Both babies are also eating well, chowing down on small rosies every couple days. Have you noticed any of your babies to be substantially different colors? One of mine is blue, and looks to be likely female, and the other is very green, and appears to be male. I had read of males being more green and females the bright blue, but I didn't know it would stand out so young. Marian, have you noticed this in any of yours? Angela |

Re: Finally........
Hello Angela ... Ummm, not sure about any real color difference between sexes. The litter of 4 has only 1 female and she's a MONSTER eater so she's easy to spot. The litter of 7 is 4.3 so not as easy to judge at a glance. I have seen pics identified as males that look very blue to me ...
best wishes ...

Re: Finally........
Good to hear that your little ones are feeding for you. I"m sure the others will come around as well. Best of luck.
