Re: breeding type
Some albino strains never produce. They are delicate animals. However, the albino checkered garter (T marcianus) is an exception, as the albinos breed quite readily and easily.
Florida blues breed easily, but they are difficult to handle, as they are nervous and are more prone to strike and bite the hand that feeds them. So I would vote for the Red Sided or the Checkered albino... Just my $.02!
