new baby het plains
my aneurystic canadian plains gave birth this morning!
![]() 1 dead, ![]() 3 wierdly disformed. (one has eyes in its mouth, so will probably have to do the evil deed) ![]() and about 12 perfect !! will post pics later...They all look normal coloured, dad was normal, mum is aneuristic, does that make them 50% het? possible het? |

congrats on your healthy babies
and sorry about the ones who aren't I'm a bit foggy on the exactitude of genetics, but I imagine they'd be 50% het (ducking right now - just in case) just a question unrelated to births: I've noticed that my anery plains garters have all surpassed their age-mated in growth - both last year's and this year's in fact - this year's anery female is almost as big as last year's other males (make sense at all?) how does yours compare to age mates?
