both appear to be parietalis....and I think they are females due how stocky they appear....but, we need photos of the belly by the tail to be able to better tell

Subadult garters can eat about 60% of their own weight in one meal.
First they will grow faster than thell become fat. Fat females are called to produce small hatchlings. |
