I´ve fed them three times before I put this female to the males.

I've seen a lot of courtship activity from my marcianus, but I've not seen them actually mate. We can only hope!

Today my het amelansitic red sided male shed.
The skin is 29".
At the cloaca I found some blood:

This should be a save sign that mating has happend

Oh, so that's normal? It looked pretty nasty in my terrarium after my snakes had mated (paper towels as substrate).

Wow...do they really bleed when mating :O

I know guys (male snakes...) can be dragged around by their hemipenisses...but this...ouch...

Dogs do the same thing... yes, there is a reason the females are properly called bitches... LOL!

Well, at least there were tiny tiny red dots all over the paper towels afterwards. Lets see if I can find a picture.. Nope.
