shacking up
I'm wondering . . .
the honeymoon accommodations . . . is it better to aim for spacious or intimate? I was going to give them a 36"x18" tank

Re: shacking up
Rhea, I've had success this year putting pairs in 20 gal long tanks 30 inch x 12 inch.

Re: shacking up
the 36"x18" would be their usual
I was thinking of going for the 20G long, so they find each other faster but I don't suppose that's necessary

Re: shacking up
of course I realize - they may just be congregating where it's warm and nothing may ever happen

Re: shacking up
not as soon as, but soon after
so far I've not observed any genital contact, or "dragging her man all over the viv" sort of thing, but unless they got tired of that spot at the same time and decided the one they're hanging out in now is better at the same time, I would venture to guess that at least they like one another's company
