I prefer the blood and gore technique... Also, using live, flailing fish seems to get their attention as well.

bought a load of neon tetras and only 3 still havn't eaten.

It's costy, but hopefully they will start eating normally now. Otherwise, scent the food with a tetra next time... great to hear only 3 are left without having eaten

I'm pleased the Neons worked for you Lulu, but they are expensive. Have you thought of putting some strips of trout in the water with them? Then, when the snakes are chasing the Neons, they bump into the trout and 'voila'!

Guys,
Bad news.
10 of the 14 are pretty much dead.
i fed them last night on fish and all but 2 again ate. then this morning i put them into a small container with water (10 poss female in one and 4 poss males in another) and placed them into the adults tank because its a bit warmer. now (3hrs later) all my females are rippled up with regurgitated food around them and the males are happy as larry and ok. just put them in water now incase i dehydrated them and 3 started moving but i don't think it will last long.
