Re: Lulu's Albino Checkereds.
sorry lulu, is there any chance you put the females too near the heat source? heat affects them really quickly when they are so small...

Re: Lulu's Albino Checkereds.
i am almost certain it was human error (a nicer way of saying 'its my own bl**dy fault') i haddn't realised it but the tank was getting to the 90's with the new bulb. i should have paid more attention. i WILL know for next time.
1 out of the 10 survived! she was really weak at first but she is giddy as anything now. really happy with her progress. I have called her Hope.

Re: Lulu's Albino Checkereds.
Lulu, as hard as this experience was, and as bad as you feel because of it, just remember two things.
1. We've all made mistakes, and it sucks, but we're only human, and that's how life goes. 2. When things like this happen, someone else on this forum will benefit, because they will remember, and watch for it when they are raising their own baby snakes. So you've potentially saved many little lives by your experience! Don't be too hard on yourself, and enjoy little Hope. And for heaven's sake, keep us all up to date on her progress! ![]()
