My poor, poor girl...
She's absolutely massive. She can barely move. She reminds of James's Bertha.
I'll get pics in a minute; she's gonna go into labor VERY soon.

I'm crossing my fingers and knocking on wood for a healthy litter!

Re: My poor, poor girl...
So... Massive...
![]() She's been breathing a lot harder today and yesterday... Good or bad sign? ![]() This is the hardest part- I can tell she's in a lot of pain. She's just not herself. Look at that face.

Get ready "Coach"
Remember the breathing part. That's really important.

Re: My poor, poor girl...
Alright, it looks like the bulge on her lower half has gotten closer to her tail. I've got one of those low-wattage nightglo bulbs on her to keep her a little warmer and so that I can see if the babies are out.
She looks miserable. Her head is laying right on the substrate, and you can just see it in her eyes. I hope she has a successful recovery.

Re: My poor, poor girl...
wow, the heavy breathing is exactly what my female water snake was doing shortly before dropping a massive bomb of babies!!! She was SO full the poor girl would not even crawl! When she was gravid I used to put her on a flat board and carry her around the house for a bit of out-of-the-cage stimulation. She would never even move!!!
