2011 had a bit of a gentle start for us this year... I found a small litter of 14 Thamnophis sirtalis parietalis this morning
I was expecting a bit more from this lady since she had 32 perfect young last year....

All seem healthy so I'm a happy man!
First mating attemps where on 23-01-2011 and she refused food since 12-04-2011. Gestation was 87 days counting from the first mating attemps...

They surprise me every year... Sooooooooooo tiny!
