erythristic babies on the way

My florida erythristic eastern is getting HUGE!!.Plus she is a wild caught snake. So I imagine she is going to hit around 30 babies. She is over 3 ft. long.A question to anybody who has bred eyrthristics before. How long does it take for the red color to start showing?I know that they are born looking normal.

Re: erythristic babies on the way

From what Scott Felzer has noted, the reddish coloring can vary at birht, and they gain more colration as they mature. How about some pics!!!! I'd probably be interested in a pair of the babies!!!!

I am trying to get a hold of a camera.I got a pic in the gallery before she shed.I tried to put it on the forum.I cant figure out how to do it.I talked to scott. He said about half will be erythristic the others will have varying amounts of red.He also said it does'nt start showing till about 8-9 months of age.

Did you put the pic on the clipboard and then paste? You can only put one pic on the clipboard at a time if your going to paste them.

When you click "Copy to Clipboard" you should see a pop-up box saying "Allow Access?" click the yes option. Go back to your post and right click where you want the photo to go, click "paste" in the drop-down menu...job done!.
