Re: enclosures in my living room
it's kind of interesting, isn't it?
where I come from, this is absolutely not the acceptable kind of living room and truly - it wasn't 100% easy for me to post these photos but for a reptile room it's pretty nice I can change a few water bowls while I'm hanging out with the family Drache's cage needs a ton of tarting up, but at least he can stretch out now

Re: enclosures in my living room
Rhea, I really do love it. I'm a firm believer that you should enjoy your home and feel comfortable to do anything you want to in it, especially your living room since that's where so much family time is spent. It should be a place to relax, enjoy each other and the pets. Thankfully even my extended family have always enjoyed fairly relaxed living rooms. We're all so busy with the outside world that it's nice to have a place where the things you enjoy are gathered and out where you can enjoy them.

Re: enclosures in my living room
Drache, I can only echo Tami. I was sorry to read you were hesitant to post those pics...
We, here, are not NY. We're us and I would like to think with all the time you've spent here you'd understand *we* would much rather see a snake room in the living room than some hoity-toity "Nu Yak" living room. *I* think your living room is GREAT! It's what we used to call here in the midwest, when the fams were downsizing and homes didn't have specifice "living rooms,"great rooms." An all purpose room where the family gathered to snuggle and do the fam-thing. Looks like you can do so much in your living room! Many things, depending on what you're feeling! And ain't that what life's about? GREAT LIVING ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's more my German proper middle class background this is Brooklyn, and while it's true that there's been a lot of influx from the burbs (and Manhattan) this is still a pretty good place to be weird
