New cage

I just got my new 55 gal tank for my garters.... and i have a few questions.....

1. the temps right now arfe 90 hot side 80 cool side.... is that too warm???
2. is a 55 gal big enough for 4 adult snakes? (3 females, 1 male)
3. there is a light inside the cage, should i be woried about them climbing on it and getting burned?
4. is it ok to have a live plant in there? i have no idea what kind it is.....

1. Yes, I'd lower them a bit.
2. I think so... unless they are really huge garters.
3. Yes.
4. I have some live plants... I just replace the soil with plain soil with no fertilizers in it. I don't know if there are dangerous plants to snakes??

AWESOME cage and top Shanley!!!! Very nice!!!! Can you remove that light and simply set it on top, on the outside, on one of the screens?

It's very nice Shanley! You and grandpa did a great job on that lid! I love your giraffe print, too. I have one with a mommy with two babies(one just slightly larger than the other)... don't know if that would actually happen in the real world, but I have two kids, so it works for me

What did you do here? Is that like a floating platform, which also provides shade/cover for the water? Is it a picture frame?
