critter box
hi i was seeing if it was safe to leave my baby garter snake out side in the sun in a critter box? (the little plastic boxes you get at petco) i also put hiding spot and some moss in there to let him hide and keep him moist. is this okay or will it over heat? i live in wa and the temp is 59 degrees and very sunny. well let me no wht you think! thanx

Re: critter box
Not sure if it's safe or not. Things tend to heat up rather quickly when left out in the sun.
Garter can handle some pretty cold temps. but heat will kill them very quickly.
Not sure it's worth the risk.
Just my opinion.

Re: critter box
Bad idea. Really bad. You could suddenly find a dead snake.
If in the future you really want to put the snake out for some sun get a popup screen cage.

Re: critter box
You'll cook your snake. Don't do this. Think about all those kids that died when left in the car. Sounds familiar?
