New tank!
I went to the Exotic Pet Expo in Raleigh today, and ended up getting a new tank. It's a 65 gallon, with slightly more floor-space than a 55 gallon long. Should be good for when Harley and Houdini get old enough to put together, and good to house quite a few snakes once they've been separated.
All in all, I'm pretty excited about it, and the expo was really interesting. It's a good thing that I don't have a lot of spare tank space, or I'd have come home with some new reptiles...

Re: New tank!
That's good. A bigger tank.
Just a question, how much did it cost...?
I might want a tank that big.....
Around where I am, the lids cost the same amount as the gallon of the tank. So for example, a 20 gallon lid would be 20 dollars.
And IF the tanks are on sale, they are a dollar per gallon. So a 20 gallon tank would be 20 dollars, IF they are on sale......
I'm not sure about the price if they are not on sale.....

Nice! Was there more than one guy selling garters there? I only saw one, and he was talking about how mean this one snake he had was, and it was about a 10 inch long garter. Then a bunch of ppl came up and started talking about how hard it was to handle garter and water snakes and I was all like "riiiigggghhhhhtttttt"

It'll be awhile before it's set up. It's for putting them together, and Harley's not quite big enough for that yet, and Houdini can't see so idk how well he'd deal with being by himself in a really large cage? I'm already making plans for how I want it set up though!

It was about $100, but it also has a sliding glass top. I got the mesh lid because I generally don't like the glass tops. The lid was about $30, but it's fitted. If you want just a bigger tank, try craigslist; you can generally get 55 gals for wayyyy cheaper on there, but it's really difficult to find anything between 55 gal and like 200 gal aquariums (in my area anyway).
