Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh
glad to hear you've still got 'em
I've had an awful stressful morning of rushing around and being hissy to my family but one wonderful thing happened I saw the wild parrots! well, three of them they were in a tree around the corner from my house, eating berries they are so green it took me forever to see them, even when they were pointed out to me and they're big too - not like the ones in San Francisco now I really want to see whether I can't get some pics of them

I don't know very much about parrots

Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh
got to meet my new vet today
one of my new hognoses hasn't eaten yet and I brought in another snake for a check-up so the new vet is a 10min walk from my house she seems competent and the fee was reasonable ($50.-) Mikhaila liked her a lot anyway - I just hope th little guy will start eating soon somehow he looks to me like he's gonna shed again, even though he did just shed a couple of weeks ago

[quote=zooplan;31209]This is the link to those I´ve meant:
Halsbandsittich - Wikipedia /quote] those are beautiful it seems that they're quite a bit bigger than the quaker parrots that is the most common species in Brooklyn (wikipedia even mentions my neighbourhood) - Monk Parakeet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia btw do you guys think I should accustom myself to using those little icon thingies? I know I sometimes say things that I mean to poke fun at things and possibly they are not taken that way just occurred to me just because I'm lazy, doesn't mean I should be taken seriously at all times if something I say strikes you as laughable, go ahead and assume it is meant that way, even if it doesn't have three of those green grins behind it

Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh
Don't worry about it Rhea! I find that once I read enough posts by any one person, I can kind of tell whether or not they're joking around or being serious, even without the funny green grins!!
