How common are earthquakes in your neck of the woods, James??
I guess I'll have to go back and study my geology -- I can't remember where the UK falls when it comes to plate tectonics!

Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh
The cat was in another room, so I don't know. It just came from nowhere, the glass started rattling then the house was shaking, then my chair which is on wheels started rolling across the floor. By that time it was pretty loud and scary. I've felt the odd tremor before, but nothing like this.
I guess they're pretty rare in the UK, Anji. I think on this occassion the epicentre was half way between Lulu and I!

Well hold on tight, there might very well be aftershocks like you said. Wait a minute-- just how bad have you been the last week or so, James?? Is the earth finally opening up to swallow you?? Anji, we might have to jump the ocean to try and rescue him!
Wait... on the other hand... James, can I have your snakes if you get swallowed into the great abyss??
