Molly is in trouble today..... she got up very early this morning and cut off all the cat's whiskers!!!
  He doesn't seem bothered by the loss, and he's still playing happily with her........ but even so I feigned temper!

Hah!! I did that to my cat when I was little, too............it survived without too much emotional trauma, and I only got a mild scolding.
Apparently they use them to judge whether or not they can fit their bodies through gaps between stuff. So just listen for yowling to tell you kitty got stuck somewhere until the whiskers grow back.

Well, I'm off to a great morning..........the furnace is on the fritz! Guess it stopped sometime during the night, so we woke up a little chilly.
It's -11C outside, but it could be worse--at least there's no wind chill to make it any colder......
