Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh

Cats are here to make sure we don't get bored. See how dull your morning chores would have been without them, Rhea?

Well, cats are kind of just another 'breed' of child!

Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh

Thanks for asking, Anji. My daughter is doing really well. They did not put a cast on her arm because they want her to move her elbow to keep it from stiffening. She has to wear a sling, though and no running for 2 weeks. After that they may let her run, but no hurdles and no triple jump...she's not happy about that! How's your daughter, are the meds knocking out the infection?

Well, we've had a couple of really rough nights. It seems that's when the choking cough hits, and neither of us have slept much. But the congestion is definitely loosening up now, so I figure in a couple days she'll be back to wreaking havoc around the house! The poor thing only gets sick once a year, and when she does, she gets hit hard!!

That's for sure! Although mine won't really hit until the grasses start pollenating, then I'm in trouble!

Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh

I have to share this with you guys, I'm still laughing about it hours later..........
My Mother is very, very old (even older than Sid) and quite easily confused.... she told me today that she had chicken doorknobs for her lunch!
She meant drumsticks, surely? But doorknobs?! Come on!
