I would wait til tomorrow and see how's he's doing. If in the morning he's either dead or in even more obvious misery than he is right now, I would euthanize him.
However, if he's observably the same, you can concur that there isn't a large amount of internal damage. Obviously, if his bodily functions cannot keep him through the night, then there's massive internal bleeding...

Crap. Ok. Jamie is going to shoot him with the shotgun, I can't think of a more instant death than that unless someone has something for me.

I think the shotgun, although messy, will be about the quickest way... he'll just be red mist!
The ice thing will require him to slowly shut down, as he would for brumation... surely speed of dispatch is the most important thing here?

He's gone. It was instant, messy indeed, but that's ok-- he never knew what hit him. Thank you guys SO much for all the help!!!!!!
