I saw a neat trick once... it involved a fake tree, a violin, a mule in a stripey suit and a lot of papier mache. Can't remember if it worked or not though.

One time at a rather drunken barbecue, a friend of mine tried to burn out a wasp's nest in his garden using a blow-torch. He destroyed his fence, burned his arm (quite badly) and was stung numerous times. Result!

At a drunken barbecue, a friend of mine tried to determine the alcohol content of a bottle of tequila by shoving a lit sparkler into it. Burned his arm (quite badly).

Too bad there aren't that many people here I'd want to drink with (much less barbecue).

I find the more I drink, the more I like the people I'm drinking with! Hic.

Not easy being a control freak. I always make sure I'm sober enough to carry the others home, or if necessary, jump in if they start picking a fight with somebody.
