well
this is what Mikhaila and I (plus family and friends) did yesterday http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/ we ate a lot and collected some there was chickweed, burdock, wood sorrel, black locust tree blossoms, wild garlic, lambs quarters (my favourite), honeysuckle bush berries, sassafras root and a few other things we were also warned of the white snake root plant (poisonous and abundant) and - ha - we got the recipe for turning poke weed into an edible vegetable - can't wait to try it it was a pretty long day - 4.5 hrs of foraging I learned a lot I'd wanted to find out more about wild plants I could feed to my lizards, but I think I may end up eating a lot of this stuff myself
