My trip out east has been cancelled.
  Finished. Kaput. End of Story. "NO EAST COAST FOR YOU!" My husband works in the tool and mold industry, which is an extremely crappy industry to be in right now around here. The company has been having a rough time, and they've had to make some major cutbacks -- salaries, benefits etc. They're working with a skeleton crew of employees right now, and he's been informed that they just can't spare him for more than a week. Sooooooooooooo....... Looks like we're going to have to look at some alternative plans. We'll make do and have fun, but it really sucks after over a year of planning.

HELP!!!!! I'VE BEEN TRAUMATIZED! NEED THERAPY FOR YEARS! AAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!
 Okay, so maybe I'm getting a bit dramatic there, but really, I've had the most horrible experience. For the first time in several years, I went ***swimsuit shopping***. I must now face a startling reality........... I'm getting old. Swimsuits don't look good on getting old people. My workouts only work on size, not spider veins. This is very disconcerting. And my husband thinks it's funny. I'm not sure whether or not I should have married him, think a plastic surgeon would be more beneficial now. I did actually find a swimsuit, but it had better last a long time, 'cause I'm never ever going through that again! Must go drink now.

ROFL... Girl, Hell will burst forth into song and messages of love and peace before I go bathing suit shopping ever again. Don't you know you're supposed to drink heavily BEFORE you go??
Why they have such bright lights in women's dressing rooms is beyond me. I say, shut down all the power, light a candle 3 stores over and I'll feel my way into the dressing room to try on that suit... |
