I must toddle. John wants to take me to bed.
. . . . . . . . . . . .John. John Sanford and his newest hardback - Phantom Prey. Missy Mayo, gods bless her. I've no idea what she previously went thru but thunderstroms TERRIFY her. I didn't have her last 4th o'July but I'm seeing fireworks also terrify her. I must go snuggle her and enforce to her nothing bad's going to happen to her as long as she's under MY watch. Poor girl! She's just shivering and shaking. John. Missy Mayo. Pickles. The Cats. Sounds like a good time to me! ![]() Catch you all later!

Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh
last night we hosted a young couple from germany who a starting on a camper trip today
Tim is the son of the family friend who first introduced me to reptiles when I was a kid of course I had no idea whether Tim was going to be at all interested in my animals, but he actually started looking right after they put their bags down he keeps turtles and tells me that his father, Gernot, breeds kingsnakes and keeps a lot of different turtles and a few other snakes and stuff apparently no gartersnakes though Tim was happy that I could lend him my field guide, since he forgot the one he'd gotten for the trip - so cool so they're headed south and very spontaneous anything they should not miss?

OT-Great Blue Heron
My wife and I spent the holiday R&Ring on the boat. We had a vistor swing by every day to check out the happenings at the marina. Usually Herons are rather shy, but one of the docks had 2 pink yard flamingos mounted on pilings, and the Heron was in love...
Not great pics, I was stretching it with the zoom on my camera. Lump |

Sweet! My mom has one visit her pond a few times a year. It's always a treat to see him.
