I was on a swim team... Back in the dark ages. I was NEVER a distance swimmer, but a short-distance speed swimmer.

cool... both of my boys do, but I never did... grew up on the cold, wet, coast and our high school didn't even have a pool. Good thing my parents were outdoor enthusiasts and took us to rivers and lakes every summer or I probably wouldn't know how to swim at all!

Yuk, I hate swimming...But that might have something to do with watertemperatures never getting higher then +5 celcius here in Holland
