Re: My Ribbons Are Breeding!

Re: My Ribbons Are Breeding!

Interesting question, Tina. I have known successful matings from Checkered Garters at unusual times of the year, but my experience with Ribbons is somewhat limited. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this mating.

My cyrtopsis are also breeding, good luck with it
There is a possibility for offspring this year as I've heard that the incubation period is about 3 months. It depends on whether you keep everything like in summer or not...

Re: My Ribbons Are Breeding!

Thanks every one!!

It is really late. They were not hibernated last year, i dont know if that will affect their time frame or not but even if she doesnt deliver this year she will be able to store the sperm to use next year...I am hoping to get some this year though...kinda ironic because i just got a baby ribbon snake from the last hamburg show.

Ill keep you guys posted.

Thanks again,
Justin
