Re: our niagara falls trip
yes
it was a much better trip than I had anticipated I'd been looking forward to Ithaca it's a lovely university town with plenty of good food places to choose from and spectacular gorges there wasn't much water, but we did hike up a riverbed to a waterfall it was lovely ![]() the stone there is shale and sandstone and some of the formations look man-made with their straight lines and squares ![]() ![]() toward the end of the hike there was a wonderful rock garden and we all got to participate ![]() ![]()

Re: our niagara falls trip
That's making me wish I had said to go to the American side. On the Canadian side there's just a bunch of casinos and things, no chance for anything natural like your first pictures.
Although we did have a bigger waterfall ![]()

Re: our niagara falls trip
can you even stand the suspense?
Of course we already knew that Terry is a nice person he makes a fantastic breakfast too I didn't take pics of his sun room, but I can tell you that it is both much larger and much more full of stuff than you'd suspect from his pics the viv he made is also even nicer well here's the three of us ![]() here's a pic of Mikhaila's new snake whom she named Jasper ![]() and you're not going to believe this (I hardly can) this is the snake, Terry gave me ![]() her name is Chloe

Re: our niagara falls trip
Very cool sounds like a really fun trip. Never been up there myself. Funny, those falls in Ithica are right near where my sister lives. If you follow the stream upstream for about a mile it goes through her property. She's got some really cool pics of the falls from last winter. Really pretty Maritimes you got from Terry too. Very cool looking and really good colours.
