Re: How about some pics of your other pets
I only have experience with Anolis carolinensis. I kept them in a 'rainforest' viv. Lots of plant, spraying 3 times a week. I didnt give them UV-light, but it may be better for them. I would supply a gravid female (esspecialy from a petshop) with loads of calcium! Just to be sure. A few plants to hide and a nice basking spot will do. Make sure she has a place for her eggs. A flowerpot with moist earth will probably be okay.
Good luck with her! |

Re: How about some pics of your other pets
Thanks. I put some Ivy in after reading some info about plants online (a good excuse to put a place for an anole to lay eggs in the tank). I still wouldn't mind pictures if you have them. The spot the eggs are in and the size relative to their body is probably similar.

Re: How about some pics of your other pets
The prairydog (she's actually of my sister, but it's such a cuty and I'm often with my sister). These are very old pictures, at that time she bite her hair off as you can see. That was because of a diet with to little vegetables, that's now ok.
The prairydog and my sister: Our bitch, this one can attack any time any place. Nonetheless I would miss her: Here she looks like an angel: I can't show you pictures of the dog, since I don't have picture yet. My dad has some on his pc, I'll post them when I get them... one day. |

I didn't know you could have prarie dogs as pets. Are they like giant hamsters or what?

. They are not at all like giant hamsters. They can actually be very tame and open if you have a lot attention to them when they are young. The prairie dog of my sister can run freely in her studio, except when she is not home. He comes for attention to you, he likes being stroked and getting candy ( for prairy dogs of course ). Although there is only a very small group he really trusts (the family: my sister), he is very nice to all the rest (the horde).abcat: I'm not a big fan of anoles, but that's a nice 1
