can't tell on the top one..little blurry. bottom looks like a gopher snake.

I'll give a hint b/c the top is so blurry (see bottom). It is a lampropeltis. The bottom: you are right on the genus.

got lots of gt basin gophers around here....just picked up a nice male for a friend....
