Re: Lizard Keepers
one thing I love about the uros is their enthusiasm about food
it's a big switch from Henner, the beardie, who is extremely picky the uros come to the front of the cage for any kind of veggie matter yesterday I brought them a treat from the yard ![]() ![]() ![]() she ended up with the larger piece

Re: Lizard Keepers
lizard on the wheel - very cool
is that one of the special rat wheels, where their tails can't get caught? here's a question for you experienced lizard keepers: Mikaila and I would like to give Henner a girlfriend, but we don't have space for another beardie sized tank (we will, but it's spoken for) and I've always assumed the we would need one a few days ago I spoke with someone who said that I could keep an adult male and female together in my 4'x2'x17" tank I am wondering whether I just made up my mind that I couldn't because at the time I'd just thought of getting a baby and then, well . . . it could be male - and needing his own space for sure but let's say I adopted an adult female, could that work? I'd think the tank's a bit small, but Henner gets to roam, and so would she

Re: Lizard Keepers
Wow...Why haven't I seen this topic before??? :O
Besides the garters, I also keep some gecko's...and offcourse, Red, my 6 year old bearded dragon. Okay, the geckos... 2.1 Eurydactylodes agricolae (no common name, sometimes refered to as 'chameleon geckos' ) 1.3 Rhacodactylus cilliatus (crested geckos) Was a lucky buy...Bought a pair, which turned both turned out female. Female cilliatus are really, really! hard to find in Europe... 1.1 Oedura monillis (velvet geckos) Awesome australian species. Always active and curious) 2.2 Underwoodisaurus milli (thick tailed barking gecko) They don't call 'm "barking" geckos for nothing ![]() 0.3 Eublepharis macularius (leopard gecko) All bred by me. But I stopped breeding them and sold my breeding group to a beginning breeder. The three all have missing toes due to bad sheds. One of them lost its tail...My first tail dropped in 5 years keeping them. 0.0.2 Rhacodactylus auriculatus ( gargoyle gecko) and non gecko's 1.0 Pogona vitticeps (bearded dragon) 1.1 Bombina orientalis (oriental fire bellied toad) The male from this pair is 8! years old now. He was my first " reptile "".
