Aaaarrrrrrrghhhh!!!
@$@$$%%^^^^(())&%$$E%$$@XXXX%%%*&*&Y
Sorry, but I didn't want to spoil the soft mood in the "oh so quiet" thread, but I need to let off steam a little. I have been trying to plumb in the washing machine that I've been given, for a couple for days now and it's driving me loopy! Not because I don't know how to do it, I'm quite pleased that I'm working it out myself, but it's the stupid things that keep going wrong... the tools breaking, the waste pipe slipping out of my hands, the saw that I use to make the hole in the undersink cupboard bigger loosing its blade, the machine bleeping an error message at me, saying there's water in the back of the machine, even though it's not been connected for a couple of years or so, but kept in the dry, the connectors of the dishwasher and washing machine not fitting next to each other, the over flow of the sink slipping out, me forgetting to reconnect the u-bend before washing my hands, waste pipe no longer fitting tightly and I don't know where to stop with all this... Anyone fancy popping round and giving me a hand? ![]() |

plumbing - aaarrrggghhhh!!!
but the savings, when you do it yourself . . . isn't it amazing that a plumber can charge $35.99 for some $0.67 brass adaptor or any other minor plumbing part - not to mention the labour cost

Today seems to be a frustrating one for a lot of members-- I don't think I've ever seen so many posts containing "@**&%$#@!!!" as I have in the last 20 minutes!!
Good luck with your plumbing woes, Esther...... I probably would have smashed the machine to smithereens by now!

Re: Aaaarrrrrrrghhhh!!!
I was tempted, I tell you! The words that came out of my mouth wouldn't be the sort I'd like you to know that I know! And you want to know the best of it? Now that I have sorted all the pipes, attached the various hoses, screwed things back together, downloaded the german instructions, cleaned and sorted, removed security braces and bolts... I can't finish the job because of this stupid error message! I can't take the back of as I should because 5 don't have the special tools that I need as the german manufactured machines have weird little screws in the back that you can't take out with the tools you get here. I will soon have to paint my body as §=_?_A>DKS LCM<A§~
