"Good", as in "tasty".

Yes, given the similarity between lawyers and rats, I think you have it!

Best,
Thanks. Bo and Luke are half Boxer, quarter German shorhair, and quarter Golden retriever. Very good dogs. They are brothers, about 3 years old, 85-90 pounds each.

it's a fantastic combo of breeds
and they turned out great
I know I talk of dogs as being too needy, but a lot of that is the sour grapes thing
dogs are the one thing Jeff puts his foot down about
and yes, we can't really afford one right now
but Loren - I'm envious of you
and the other day, when I met the dog Sean pulled out of the rescue for himself, I was totally envious

Re: Fighting like cat and dog?

Person who likes dogs need slaves around them. If you like cats you are the slave of your animal and don't know it. I've got three cats. They wake me up at four o'clock in the morning and likes their food. After I feel happy, because I trained my cat's so, that they doesn't wake me up a second time.

Re: Fighting like cat and dog?

ha
I've taught our cats never to expect food right when we get up
they also don't get access to our bedrooms
but so far - no whining at the doors
the days of rolling out of bed bleary eyed because Fritz just walked across my chest are long gone, and so are the ones of Mu-shin howling by the door
one cannot really train a cat, but one can sort of channel their expectations

I shall not be trained!

dogs aren't necessarily slaves either, but one absolutely cannot have them be the boss

Re: Fighting like cat and dog?

Cats and snakes, well cats don't come when you call them either (unless they are hungry).

Besides you can't train a cat to retrieve a pheasant, and How can you resist that face?

Well, my cousin's cat didn't have to be trained to retrieve pheasants, it used to drag them home on its own initiative.
