What music do you like... ?

I like the Violent Femmnes, Blind Mlon and Jane's Addiction but have lost the cd's(I think my hubby may have something to do with that). I find myself in a new job with time to listen on my hands and i seem to listen to Meatloaf, Jimmy Buffet and Macthbox 20.

I am a metalhead... Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Moonsorrow, Wintersun, Darkthrone and so on, mostly BM. Can't wait for the Tuska Open Air, especially Emperor. I just watched them performing "Inno a Satana" in youtube, it really kicked ***.

Speaking of older music, it's hard to beat Louis Armstrong, James Brown, BB King, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, or Sam Cooke.

I listen to classical music the most, though. My favorite composers are Vivaldi, Mozart, Gustav Holst, Rimsky Korsakov, and Tchaikovsky. It amazes me that some of this music is 200-300 years old!

As for the most beautiful voice, it's hard to choose between Luciano Pavorati when he sings Nessun Dorma and/or Elucevan le stelle and Maria Callas when she sings from the Marriage of Figaro.

There's also room in my world for Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, Van Halen, Godsmack, Rammstein, Three Doors Down, White Zombie, Tool, and P.O.D. among others.
